Resident associations

Residents’ Associations
Residents’ Associations are a good way of getting to know your neighbours and discussing issues of local concern. All associations are different but they can be used to:
- identify problems that occur locally in your scheme and the immediate surrounding area
- help find solutions to those problems
- put residents in touch with other organisations in the voluntary, public and private sector
- campaign for changes and improvements to your service and immediate area
- arrange activities for people within the service, providing further opportunities for everyone to get involved
