You couldn’t wish for nicer neighbours than Marc and Sharon Harper.
The couple from Loughton, Essex, used their engagement party to raise cash for charity by asking guests to make a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust rather than buy presents.
They have also extended their goodwill to Haymond Pang and her young daughter Annabel, by helping out with chores and always being ready to offer a helping hand.
Haymond said: “I want to thank them for their kindness and generosity towards my daughter and I.
“Their over-whelming and never-ending help really means a lot to us, even little things like helping with my electricity meter or lending me a lamp on the day we first met.
“It is not just us they help either. For their engagement party they raised £220 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust by asking guests to make a donation instead of buying presents.
“I consider us to be really lucky to have such good neighbours and friends.”
Marc, who works as a postman, said: “My young niece has Cystic Fibrosis so we try to raise as much money as we can for the Trust because they do such a great job.”
