What support can a service user expect?

L&Q SL will be pro-active in providing support to service users. The support will be based on an assessment of the needs of the individual and this will feed into a support plan that is drawn up in partnership between the service users and L&Q SL.

A copy of the support plan will be given to the service users so they are clear on what has been agreed and who will do what by when.

The support plan is regularly reviewed to take into account any changes in the service users needs.

The support that we provide can include:

  • help setting up and maintaining a tenancy
  • help to maximise income including claiming housing and welfare benefits
  • finding employment
  • practical help with personal finances and budgeting
  • establish personal safety and security
  • advice and advocacy
  • gaining access to other agencies
  • developing social skills and behaviour management
  • promoting health and general well-being
