To keep track of our resident involvement activities and judge how well they are working we have set up a special Resident Board.
The board is made up of residents from L&Q’s regional forums, resident and community development staff, L&Q managers and directors.
Members have been heavily involved in putting together our resident involvement strategy for the year, looking at ways of increasing involvement – particularly for hard-to-reach groups – and examining how successful our “10 ways to get involved” are.
Irene Addis, who chairs the Resident Board, has been an L&Q resident since 1981 and a member of our South West Thames Regional Committee since 1998.
She said: “The Resident Board has been exceptionally good for co-ordinating the work that goes on at regional level.
“We have been discussing things that have happened in the past, to see how successful they have been, and looking at present and future ideas."
