Bob the biker fixes it for his neighbours

Bob Coe has three big passions in life: West Ham United, his motorbike and his cats. As if these don’t keep him busy enough, Bob also goes out of his way to look after all his neighbours at Hampton House in Bexleyheath.

He was nominated for our Good Neighbour award by bus driver Lee Allen, who lives in the same block as Bob.
Lee said: “I got talking to him originally because we’ve both got motorbikes. He rides his up to the West Ham games and really looks after it, so we used to talk about that.
“Bob is just a really great guy. He clears the rubbish away every morning from front doors, he keeps the stairwell clean, he comes out to help carry shopping, changes light bulbs and he really looks after our neighbour Karen, who has Cerebral Palsy.”

Karen explained: “Bob is the best neighbour ever. He helps me with everything, and even takes my children to school for me sometimes. I don’t know what I’d do without him.”
