Anti-Social Behaviour

Bench And Graffiti Wall

L&Q is committed to dealing with anti-social behaviour as part of its mission of “creating places where people want to live”.

We will advise any resident who is aware of anti-social behaviour caused by L&Q residents or their visitors. If you have a serious, urgent problem linked to L&Q residents call the police, phone your local L&Q office, or, out of hours, phone 0800 056 3451.

Everyone who signs up to an L&Q tenancy knows they have to act responsibly and ensure their children and visitors do not cause trouble. L&Q takes a zero-tolerance approach to this problem and will work with police and other agencies to solve complaints wherever possible. If necessary, we will take court action which could lead to eviction. We also work with partners to get Anti Social Behaviour Orders (ASBOs).

To help you understand the work of L&Q in relation to anti-social behaviour, we have a number of publications and forms.

We have a general information leaflet outlining L&Q's approach to pdf Tackling anti-social behaviour (1.3 MB)

We also have guidance notes on the following aspects linked to anti-social behaviour:

pdf Harassment and Hate crime (50 KB)
pdf Noise nuisance (45 KB)
pdf Environmental damage and public disorder (46 KB)
pdf Neighbour disputes (44 KB)
pdf Vulnerable residents (42 KB)
pdf Prevention and partnership working (32 KB)
pdf Supporting victims and witnesses (44 KB)

If you are experiencing anti-social behaviour from neighbours you should tell your Tenancy Services Officer who may suggest you use our pdf Anti-social behaviour Record Form (30 KB) to record and keep a diary of any incidents.

Your Tenancy Services Officer, based at our local L&Q Group Offices, is the first person you should tell about any anti-social behaviour problems.

What can your Tenancy Services Officer do?
