Community Development

Community Development is the tool we use to engage and involve our residents in developing their neighbourhoods. We do this by supporting the development of residents by identifying local needs. We aim to build the capacity of individuals and residents by providing practical support and facilitating access to services and local resources. We offer training, help develop local community facilities and offer small grants to build grass roots community projects.

This co-ordinated approach creates opportunities for residents to inform service delivery standards, monitor progress and take a lead in strengthening their neighbourhoods.
