Simnel Road

Simnel Road is located on the east side of Alnwick Road near the junction with Westhorne Avenue in Lee in the London Borough of Greenwich. The site comprises approximately 2802 sq m of land which was formerly occupied by the disused ‘Tegal’ elderly people homes. The surrounding area is predominantly residential and as such L&Q will be providing 15 units for affordable rent (including five 5 bed houses) and six shared ownership units to be managed by Tower Homes.

The site includes an estate facility building owned by Greenwich, which will be retained and refurbished for the local community.

The site was brought to L&Q by Classgrade Ltd, a design and build contractor, from whom L&Q bought the land and entered into contract under a package arrangement.
