Situated close to Woolwich Town Centre in the London Borough of Greenwich, this site, formerly home to a disused playschool, will provide eight new homes for affordable rent. The accommodation will include six two bed flats and two three bed ground floor flats with private gardens. The immediate area is predominantly residential but the shops and transport links (including the new DLR station) are less than a ten minute walk away.

The site was brought to L&Q by Classgrade Ltd, a design and build contractor, from whom L&Q bought the land and entered into contract under a package arrangement.

Position at November 2007

The disused school buildings have now been fully demolished but construction works are on hold pending agreements with utility providers. Ground works are expected to start in early 2008 with completion expected in spring 2009.
